About us
PayEasi Home is a trading name of LJV Carpets & Flooring Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17467038. Our registered office is at 44 Union Street, Leigh, Wigan, WN7 1AT. Our VAT registration number is 305256723. In these terms, “PayEasi Home”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean LJV Carpets & Flooring Ltd, and “you” and “your” mean the customer placing an order with us.
These terms
These terms apply to every order placed through payeasihome.co.uk. Please read them before you order. By placing an order you agree to be bound by them. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place your order are the ones that apply to that order.
Placing an order
When you place an order we will send you an email acknowledging that we have received it. This is not acceptance of your order. A contract between us is formed when we send you a confirmation that your order has been accepted and is being processed.
We may decline an order, for example where a product is unavailable, where we cannot deliver to your address, where a payment or finance application is not approved, or where there has been a pricing or product description error. If we decline an order after payment has been taken, we will refund you in full.
Please check your order carefully before you submit it, in particular the product, colour, configuration (such as left or right hand facing) and delivery address. Contact us as soon as possible if anything needs correcting.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Delivery is free across England, Wales and Central Scotland; elsewhere we will quote before you order. The price you pay is the price shown at the time you place your order.
We take reasonable care to make sure prices are correct. If we discover a pricing error on an order you have placed, we will contact you before dispatch and you will be able to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
You can pay in full by card, processed by Stripe, or apply to spread the cost with Snap Finance. We do not store your card details. Your order will not be confirmed until payment has been authorised or your finance agreement has been approved and signed.
Finance
Finance is provided by Snap Finance Ltd, who is the lender. Credit is subject to status and affordability, and is only available to UK residents aged 18 or over. PayEasi Home is a credit broker, not a lender. Your finance agreement is a separate contract between you and Snap Finance Ltd and is subject to their terms. Full details are on our How Finance Works page.
Delivery
We deliver to most of England, Wales and Central Scotland. For more remote areas of Scotland, the Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Isle of Wight, please contact us for a delivery quote before you order, and we can usually still deliver within the same timeframe. If there is a problem delivering to your address after you have ordered, we will call you.
We aim to deliver within 14 days of your order, and during busy periods we will keep you updated on your estimated delivery date. A member of our friendly team will contact you once your order is complete to confirm the delivery date. Our delivery team will bring your furniture into the room of your choice, assemble it and take the packaging away. Please make sure there is safe access and that the furniture will fit through doorways, hallways and stairwells; product dimensions are listed on every product page.
Please check your furniture on delivery and tell us about any damage or missing items as soon as possible, with photographs. Full details are on our Delivery & Returns page.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes to you when we have received payment in full, or, where you pay by finance, when your finance agreement has been completed.
Cancellation and returns
Our sofas are made to your specification once you order, so under Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 they are exempt from the 14 day cooling off period that applies to distance sales of off the shelf goods. You do not have a statutory right to cancel simply because you have changed your mind. You may cancel for a full refund if you tell us in writing within 24 hours of placing your order; after that a 25% administration and fabric procurement fee applies, and once manufacturing has started an order cannot be cancelled. Items that are not made to order, such as accessories, keep the usual 14 day right to cancel. Our full policy, including how returns are collected and how refunds are made, is set out in our Refund Policy.
Refunds are made to the original payment method. Where you paid by finance, the refund is applied to your finance agreement and Snap Finance Ltd will adjust or cancel the agreement accordingly.
These rights are in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Faulty goods
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply to every sofa.
If something is faulty, contact us with your order number and photographs and we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate.
Product information
We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours can appear differently on different screens, and fabrics can vary slightly between batches. Dimensions are approximate and given in centimetres. If you need to check a detail before ordering, please contact us.
Your account
You can create an account to view your orders and save your details. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for everything done under your account. Please tell us straight away if you think your account has been accessed without your permission.
Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, or for business losses, as we only supply goods for domestic and private use.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, supplier failure, transport disruption or industrial action. If such an event affects your order we will contact you as soon as we can and, if the delay is significant, you may cancel your order for a full refund.
Other important terms
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, but this will not affect your rights. Each paragraph of these terms operates separately; if any part is found to be unlawful, the rest continues in force. If we do not insist on you performing any of your obligations, or delay in doing so, that does not mean we have waived our rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
