Who we are

PayEasi Home is a trading name of LJV Carpets & Flooring Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17467038. Our registered office is at 44 Union Street, Leigh, Wigan, WN7 1AT. Our VAT registration number is 305256723. We are the data controller for the personal data collected through payeasihome.co.uk. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and the rights you have.

What we collect

When you browse, order from or contact us we may collect:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, billing address and delivery address
  • Details of the orders you place, your payment status and your order history
  • Your account login details if you create an account
  • The content of messages you send us through the contact form, by email or by phone
  • Technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and similar technologies

We do not collect or store your card details. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and finance applications are processed by Snap Finance Ltd, each under their own privacy policy.

How we use your data

We use your personal data:

  • To process and deliver your order, take payment and provide customer service, because it is necessary to perform our contract with you
  • To contact you about your order, including to confirm your delivery date
  • To manage your account, respond to your enquiries and deal with any returns, refunds or faulty goods claims
  • To keep records we are required to keep by law, for example for tax and accounting
  • To keep our website secure and to understand how it is used so we can improve it, which is in our legitimate interests
  • To send you marketing about our products if you have agreed to receive it. You can opt out at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us

Payments and finance

When you pay by card, your payment details are entered directly with Stripe and are not seen or stored by us. When you apply for finance, your application is made to Snap Finance Ltd, who is the lender and a data controller in its own right. Snap Finance Ltd will carry out its own checks, including with credit reference agencies, and will tell you how it uses your data when you apply.

Who we share your data with

We share personal data only where it is needed to run our business and fulfil your order, with:

  • Our delivery teams and the supplier who makes your furniture, so it can be built and delivered to you
  • Stripe and Snap Finance Ltd, to take payment or process your finance application
  • The companies that host our website, send our emails and provide our IT systems
  • Our professional advisers, and regulators or law enforcement where we are required to

We do not sell your personal data. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place.

Cookies

We use cookies to make the website work, to keep your basket and login between pages, and to understand how the site is used. Our Cookie Policy explains which cookies we use and how to manage them.

How long we keep your data

We keep order and payment records for six years after the order to meet our legal and accounting obligations and to deal with any faulty goods claims. Account data is kept while your account is open. Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for up to two years. Marketing preferences are kept until you opt out.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete your data, where we no longer need it
  • Ask us to restrict how we use your data, or object to our use of it
  • Ask for your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it, for example for marketing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
